The first meeting of the Committee for International Academic Cooperation of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences was held on 6 of June 2016 in presence of Dr. Ezatollah Ghanavati Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Moosa Kamanroodi Research Deputy Dean, Dr. Hamid Jalalian Academic Deputy Dean, Dr. Asghar Tahmasebi, and Dr. Javad Sadidi. The committee aims to coordinate, track and field and facilitate the international cooperation of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences with Germany and DAAD center as its priority by appointing its members and the cooperation fields as mentioned in the following.

During the meeting Dr. Kamanroodi presented his coordination and follow-up reports with the University of Siegen in Germany for establishing cooperation with the Faculty of Geographical Sciences and finally it was decided that he will present the proposal for doing research projects and academic workshops with this University in the following meeting of the committee to be held on 13 of June 2016
