On Tuesday, 23 of February 2016 the scientific workshop on "Promotion Regulations and scientific Articles" was held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Geographical Sciences. The speaker of the session, Prof. Alijani the Director of the Center of Excellence for spatial analysis of environmental hazards told the academic staff participating in the meeting how to evaluate scientific papers in the evaluation committee of the university

The meeting also reviewed validation and indexing databases, journals and the scoring of articles was introduced to the participants. Then Prof. Alijani taught the participants how to write good journal articles, and finally at the end of the session, it was suggested and agreed to continue the same workshop weekly on Tuesdays
