Brief CV
I completed my BSc study in rangeland and watershed management engineering in 1996 at Mazandaran University. Then I  received a master degree in natural resources engineering with a focus on combating desertification from Tehran University in 1998. Since 1999, I had the oppertunity to collborate with several international project at the Forests, Rangelands and Watershed Management Organization in Iran. In 2012, I received my PhD degree in Natural Science (Dr.rer.nat.) with the distinction of  Magna Cum Laude from Center for Development Research (ZEF) University of Bonn. Then, I joined the Geography Department at Kharazmi University in Iran, and became an Assistant Professor in 2013. My main research interests are community development, climate change adaptation and vulnerability, water resource governance, drought and desertification.
